Want to stop reflux? Eat an early, light dinner.

The Ayurvedic daily routine calls for a light dinner, at least three hours before bedtime. It also makes lunch the biggest meal of the day and counsels against lying down after a meal. As this NYT article titled "Dangers of Eating Late at Night," written by an MD, describes, people who follow this routine can eliminate reflux and taking medications is not the answer - they don't stop the damage from reflux, and they carry significant risks. Once again, modern medicine is catching up to ancient wisdom.
