Among the many benefits of meditation: higher GRE scores and better working memory capacity. I talk to many people who think they can't meditate - their minds just keep going. Of course, that's the mind's job. But meditation can train the mind. Like many training programs, it takes practice. But unlike some other types of training, it doesn’t take long before the “training” becomes enjoyable in itself.
