Massage Can Help Menstrual Symptoms

Many studies show that massage gives relief from a number of menstrual symptoms - pain, cramps, bloating, mood, and more. That certainly was the case today. I had the honor and pleasure of giving a Thai massage to Denver Integrative Massage School owner Hillary Olsen Hilliard this afternoon. Hillary started out with soreness from her recent workouts plus a few typical menstrual cycle issues (yes, Hillary approved my posting this). The massage included leg energy lines that relate to the reproductive system, leg stretches that can help with low-abdomen congestion and low-back discomfort, the abdomen, and the low back, along with yummy Thai herbal compresses. When we finished, Hillary felt way better - symptoms gone!
