CCF stands for cumin, coriander, and fennel. All three of these herbs help the digestion. The tea tastes quite good. I’ve served it to a lot of people who first say it tastes good and then ask what it is. The tea is very balanced and good for everyone. Wonderful after a meal, or put it in a travel mug and sip it through the day. Although this is a popular tea in the Ayurveda world, I’ve yet to see tea bags in the store. But it’s very easy to make yourself.

Take equal amounts of each of the three seeds. In the Denver area, you can find them in Vitamin Cottage/Natural Grocers in the spice section. Use about 1 teaspoon total of seeds to 1 cup of water. I often take a teaspoon of each of the three sorts along with 3 cups of water. Put it all in a pot, bring it to a boil, lower it to a simmer for 5 to 10 minutes – it’s nice to keep it going until the coriander seeds (those are the round ones) start to sink. If you find yourself liking this tea, you can mix the seeds up in advance and keep them in a jar or baggie.
